Who let these monopolies buy up all their competitors or put others out of business by building hospitals where there already were hospitals in an overserved market? Regulation is useless when regulatory capture is rampant.<br /><br />And can we expect the regulators to operate against their own self interest? The organizations they regulate often are their primary employment opportunity in a system that allows, even encourages the revolving door. <br /><br />Its all perfectly legal yet the results are diametrically opposed to the intentions.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
